2. Accessibility Standards
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA, the recognized standard for accessibility across public and private websites. While we continuously work toward full compliance, not every page may be perfect. We are actively monitoring and improving site accessibility.
3. What We Are Doing
-
Designing content for compatibility with screen readers, magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation
-
Ensuring sufficient color contrast, scalable text (up to 200%), and consistent page layout
-
Using clear headings, form labels, and descriptive link text to support understanding
-
Providing alt text for images, captions for videos, and avoiding flashing elements that may trigger seizures
4. Feedback & Accommodation
If you experience any difficulty accessing content or functionality on our website, we welcome your feedback. Please include the page URL, browser or device used, and details of the issue. We will strive to respond within five business days and, where feasible, provide the information in an alternative accessible format

6. Notice of Temporary Disruption
In the event of planned or unexpected website downtime or digital disruptions affecting accessibility (e.g. major updates, technical maintenance), we will provide advance or timely notice either via our website homepage or by direct communication to scheduled patients, along with any alternative access arrangements
7. Staff Training
Our staff receive training as per the AODA Customer Service Standard on how to provide accessible services and effectively interact with individuals with diverse accessibility needs. Staff onboarding includes training on website accessibility responsibilities and procedures.
